When staying in our Bourbon Big Shot Mansion, you’ll experience the history and character no matter the room you’re in. The mansion is elegantly finished throughout, blending breathtaking architectural features with the modern amenities and services today’s most discerning travelers expect.

The mansion offers 8 spacious bedrooms  thoughtfully-designed to preserve the history of the home and offer the rest you need.

Interested in a game of poker or an outdoors grilling party? The mansion offers plenty of opportunities to socialize before withdrawing to your private rooms.

Location

The mansion is located in a historical neighborhood with easy access to all that Louisville has to offer, from popular bourbon tasting tours to the Kentucky Derby.

This place is so incredibly cool. Usually, if I am in a home like this it is because I paid admission. The rooms are all amazing and the central staircase and the history is all amazing. My family enjoyed two nights here and used it as a landing spot for some distillery tours and it was just perfect. A memory we will never forget.

Beautiful old mansion. Tons of space. Full of history. Like most huge old mansions, it’s seen its share of changes through the years, some done well and some not. But most of its grandeur has been preserved or restored. A fantastic spot if you’ve got a lot of people. Owner is exceptionally helpful and responsive.

Thomas is an excellent host! His home is huge and great for large groups! It’s like staying in a super cool museum. So many rooms- 3 kitchens!! Thomas is very knowledgeable about the area and has great suggestions. Staying here was a unique experience and definitely made my husband’s 40th memorable!

Big Shot Mansion is the best home base for a great weekend in Louisville. Conveniently located near some authentic spots for great grub and drinks. This house is perfect for large parties. It was almost like renting out a private hotel. Thomas was a great host and made sure we were taken care of!

This was the perfect spot for our group of 12 in town for a friend’s birthday. The house is massive, there is a kitchen on every floor, really comfortable beds, everything is so clean and the house has all of the modern conveniences. The location was great - a quick Uber ride to pretty much everywhere we needed to go. Would absolutely recommend this place to friends and would stay here again the next time we are in Louisville.

The home was more beautiful than the pictures could show, and you could really feel like you were living in the history of Old Louisville. It was a gorgeous mix of old-world furnishings and modern amenities like updated kitchens and WiFi. The house very comfortably accommodated our group of 13 people. We were able to socialize and mingle before withdrawing to our private rooms to unwind and get ready for another day on the Bourbon Trail.
